Dr. Roz and Kil: Welcome to Til Death Do Us Part!

Welcome to Til Death Do Us Part! This is a blog dedicated to assisting married, engaged, and single individuals. This blog was started because we realized the struggles, problems, and how hard it is to not only make your marriage a success but to keep your marriage a success.

One of my favorite quotes is from Love Jones when Savon tells Darius
"Everybody's jumping and skipping and falling in love, please someone, tell me how to stay there."

That quote is so important and it speaks to what so many couples are going
through right now. I've have been married to my wonderful wife Tanya for 10 years this October and Roz has been married to her husband for 4 years this September, so between the two of us we've been through the ups and downs of life and love! Moreover, we both have been blessed to STILL not only be married, but we are STILL in love with our spouses! If you are not married, you may not be able to understand what a blessing that last statement is, however, if you've been married for over 2
years I'm SURE you understand what we are saying!

Marriage in our opinion is the HARDEST thing that you will EVER do in life and most of us haven't been trained properly to have a successful marriage. This blog is simply an attempt to assist relationships with some of the knowledge that not only was shared with us but knowledge that we learned along the way, just by living life and making mistakes.

We are both cut from the same cloth in that we want to provide knowledge about marriage that is not ordinarily discussed! We don't want other couples to struggle unnecessarily due to not having mentors that will provide good and Godly advice. Now in NO WAY are we pastors, preachers, deacons, deaconesses, etc but we both follow the word of God and try our best to apply it to our marriages. We're not perfect, both of our marriages are works in progress but our true passion is to see ALL marriages be a success!

Every Monday there will be a post update entitled "The Difference is Why" which will deal with the common differences between men and women. Myself and Roz will take turns updating this weekly section so that both sexes are represented. This blog is a lighthearted way to discuss the male and female differences in a "down to earth " manner to help us understand how to relate better with each other! Thursdays will be our "Advice days". If you have any questions or need advice with what you and your partner are going through please email us @ and Thursdays will be the days we respond.

Additionally, "Sensual Sundays" will be our music day, where you can obtain a free download of one of Kil's slow jam mix cd's! So please, follow our blog, email us with questions, comments, etc and share YOUR story so we can all begin to heal not only our selves, our marriages but also our families!

Roz & Kil, thank you so much for your perspectives on relationships. I like that I can hear the male vs. female point of view. I look forward to the next session. NancyB
