I am a single woman. I have tons for male friends. I have been very fortunate those close male friends remain close. I was even a bridesmaid in one of my best guy friends wedding.
I know my role. I am a friend. I respect the wives role and embrace her. I swear it is in presentation. To Roz's point ain't no secret friends and meetings. Heck generally it is an open invitation to spouse or my SO at the time.
I can only hope if and when I marry the core 5 of my guy friends who have been a part of my life for the better part of 20 years isn't an issue. But I am sure it will come up long before the wedding LOL
I am fine with a guy having female friends. Just make sure she ain't a new friend I have never heard of, she isn't calling the cell phone at 2AM, and she isn't doing stuff to make it seem out of order (cause women can LOL)
